Students pass major IPH milestones.
On March 26th and 27th, IPH juniors and seniors passed major program milestones via Zoom.
Seniors Ben Goodfriend and Ismene Vedder passed their thesis defenses. Ben defended his thesis, "Visualizing the Prison: A Foucauldian Triptych," on March 26th. Ismene defended her thesis, "The Personal Is Not the Political: A Feminist Interpretation of Hannah Arendt," on March 27th.
Juniors Jackie Baik and Karly Kessler passed the Junior Comprehensive Exam, completing their oral examinations on Friday, March 27th after submitting the written examinations in February. The examination committee included one external examiner, Professor Emerita Miriam Bailin, and two internal examiners, Professors Eric Brown and Philip Purchase.
Congratulations to Ben, Ismene, Jackie, and Karly, for completing these major accomplishments amidst trying times.
